
Christian Weder, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Cardiology)
Dr. Christian Weder was born and raised in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University’s veterinary school in 2012. He then went on to complete a 1 year rotating internship at The Ohio State University and a 3 year residency in cardiology at Colorado State University. Dr. Weder earned his board certification in veterinary cardiology in 2016 and has since practiced in both Michigan and Colorado.
Dr. Weder founded MMVC in 2020 with the goal of delivering professional and compassionate care to the communities that mean the most to him. In his free time, Dr. Weder enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, 1 year-old son, and two dogs, Floyd and Zoe. He has a passion for trail running and endurance sporting events. Dr. Weder is also the co-founder of the IRONDOG charity, which provides financial support for the advanced medical and surgical needs of pets hospitalized at MSU.


Brianna Chidester, LVT
Brianna Chidester started working at her local veterinary hospital in Morrison, Illinois at a young age of 14. She went on to pursue her dreams and received her Veterinary Technician degree in Iowa 2013. After graduation she worked at a referral specialty hospital in Davenport, Iowa for 7 years. Brianna then moved to the small town of Eagle, Michigan with her husband Doug and four fur children; Gage a very energetic shorthair pointer and three feisty cats, A.J., Leonard and Mowgli. She worked at MSU for 1 year before becoming a part of the Mid-Michigan Veterinary Cardiology team. When Brianna isn’t working she enjoys being outside hiking, kayaking and going to the Muskegon dog beach with Gage. Brianna was inspired at a very young age to pursue her veterinary technician degree as a way to combine her love for animals and medicine.

Kirstin Atlee-Hoshal, Client Liaison
Kirstin Atlee-Hoshal earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology from Hillsdale College in 1988. After working as a cell biologist and cancer researcher for six years, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Biological Education from Michigan State University. After 27 years teaching high school biology and chemistry, Kirstin recently retired and is appreciating a more relaxed pace of life. Kirstin joined MMVC because of her passion and love for animals and their owners. Her favorite pastimes are gardening, paddling, hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting with her husband Tim and fur baby Remnar the chocolate lab.
